[TM] totally changed the game for me—energy, focus, a general bettering of life and feeling just physically and mentally better.

Amy Schumer

It’s a little brain massage. You know, like you need a shoulder massage?

I think we underestimate how often we need to slow down and get a brain massage…meditation makes me feel more rested than a full night sleep.

I really enjoy powering down for 20 minutes because it’s like shutting off light switches in my brain. I should make more time for it, but meditating even a couple times a week makes a big difference in my stress and happiness levels.

Kristen Bell

It [TM] was a powerfully energizing yet calming experience. I didn’t want it to end. When it did, I walked away feeling fuller than when I started. Full of hope, a sense of contentment, and deep joy. Knowing for sure that even in the daily craziness that bombards us from every direction, there is still—the constancy of stillness. Only from that space can you create your best work and your best life.

So now I give myself a healthy dose of quiet time…Twenty minutes in the morning, twenty minutes in the evening. TM teachers have taught everyone in my company to meditate. The results have been awesome. Better sleep. Improved relationships with spouses, children, co-workers. Some people who suffered from migraines, don’t anymore. Greater productivity and creativity all around…

Oprah Winfrey

I start the day with Transcendental Meditation. It puts me in the best mood. I wake up and just prop myself up in bed for 20 minutes. It’s the only time my mind gets absolute rest.

Katy Perry

I learned Transcendental Meditation this year because it’s overwhelming sometimes, doing all of the things I do at once. 20 minutes a day in the morning and at night… was necessary.

It’s a whole rounded regimen that deals with your mind, your soul, your spirit and your body. It’s working out, it’s dancing, it’s meditating. And then, at the end of the day, just being happy, being with my kids and feeling the love and the joy that they give me. All of that helps balance it out, so work doesn’t feel so crazy.

Jennifer Lopez

I had a lot of people in the industry say to me, ‘I know you have a busy schedule—what do you do to stay calm, cool, and collected?’ I was like, ”Um, nothing?” And then one day, when I was having a freak-out, I was having multiple freak-outs, I was like, OK, I’m going to try this. So I found this lady, she’s awesome, she taught me TM, and I love it!

Kendal Jenner

I’m actually huge into meditation, Transcendental Meditation, and that really helps create not only a sense of balance, but all the other stuff—this is gonna sound cliche—but serenity and kind of a calm state of mind. And not that I’m like that all the time, but it helps me deal with life’s ups and downs, coming from more of a centered place. It helps [me] with creativity. … I can give you a list of things I think, but it’s tapping into something so deep that when I reap the rewards, I do not even know I’m reaping them.

Eva Mendes

I like to meditate, Transcendental Meditation usually. I took it up in my early 20s and I learned the benefits. I try to do it every day. A typical session is 20 to 30 minutes.

TM is very practical! I feel incredibly blessed to have it in my life, just as a practical application. As more and more hospitals are using it now all over the world really and truly for stress-management, then more people are finding their way to it. For the workplace, for health reasons. For me, as an artist, it helps to figure out how to be in the moment. If you’re an actor, a painter, or a mother— there’s no greater daily practice for learning how to turn your focus just to this moment. TM serves me beautifully in so many areas. I feel really lucky to have it!

Laura Dern

I learned to meditate nearly 20 years ago. It’s just helped me, it’s like a little gift that you can carry in your back pocket and it’s your friend in your hour of need.

[When my mom died] I had quite a reaction that I didn’t feel in control of. I possibly suppressed my emotions and I started having panic attacks, physical reactions to that loss.

Transcendental Meditation really did help me at a time when I really needed some help.

Stella McCartney

I’d say a little over a year ago I started doing TM and that’s really changed everything. Starting your day off with that and ending with that is pretty powerful.

Twenty minutes, you just notice the difference. When I get lazy and don’t get it in, I can feel a difference.

Jennifer Aniston

I practise Transcendental Meditation… I do it in the morning … If I have to, I do it in the office… Most times, I will do it when I get home, but not before bed, because it tends to be energizing.

I just sit in a chair in my room. I meditate in the airport. I meditate in my office in the afternoon. It doesn’t require a special place or even a lack of people.

Candy Crowley

I practise Transcendental Meditation twice a day. Every morning and lunchtime or evening, for about 20 minutes. I’m not very superstitious. I believe in the power of intention and thought, so always try to focus on the positive side of any situation.

Gisele Bündchen

I feel healthier and have fewer stressful days and more energy and clarity of mind. TM allows me to experience a state of deep rest and relaxation that can be game changing and sometimes a lifesaver in a crazy world.

It helps alleviate stress and pressure if you are trying to balance life as a wife, mother and journalist.

Lena learned the Transcendental Meditation when she was 9 years old. Transcendental Meditation has helped her both on the set of her popular show, Girls and off the set.

Lena Dunham

After I did the first week of Transcendental Meditation where I did it twice a day…. from that moment on, I’ve never been that frazzled or that tired ever again.

It was like it sort of restored my body on such a deep level.

Liv Tyler

For me, [TM] meditating is one of the most direct ways to reconnect with oneself.

To succeed there doesn’t have to be a trade-off between performance and actually tapping into a place of peace, strength and wisdom within.

Arianna Huffington

It’s the easiest thing I have ever done.

It was exactly what I needed! The thing that blew me away the most about it was that it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done–not the easiest meditation, but the easiest thing… I got all my family to learn.

To have that tool now and to be able to go into the deepest part of myself and to access that and to recharge my battery internally, within myself.

I feel so badass. I really do. I think it’s so awesome. I feel so empowered that I actually possess that.

Cameron Diaz

I do Transcendental Meditation and I will not start my day without it. It’s been two and a half years and it was a major game changer for me.

We spend so much time working on the outside but we should spend just as much time working on the inside.

Emmanuelle Chriqui

They wanted to put me on anti-anxiety medication, but I was like, I really don’t want to take drugs. That’s just not me.

The day that I started Transcendental Meditation, it was as if I was taking a pill. They (anxiety attacks) went away. I meditate 20 minutes, twice a day.

Sanaa Lathan

One of the things—and this comes from someone who was highly self-critical and a type-A personality—that has changed my life is meditating (TM).

Sheryl Crow

Meditation has been the most helpful and life-changing thing for me. You can feel the difference when you meditate on a regular basis. At least I can… I started practicing Transcendental Meditation a year and a half ago.

Meditation has saved my sanity, not that I was crazy, but in this world of hyperspeed, overstimulation, no escape from technology and constant emotional stress, it’s very hard to stay centered and grounded.
